What People's Say About Place

Seriously such a gem! I drive past the shopping center it’s in almost everyday and never knew it was there. The food is soooo fresh and Sherri is a beast on that grill! I had the Keller Roast Beef sandwich and….mind blown! Freshly made, in-house shaved roast beef, goat cheese, carmelized onions on fresh, homemade toasted sourdough bread need I say more? My baby boy had the diced sweet potatoes and rice. The sweet potatoes tasted like my grandma made them…seriously. But the star and seemingly heartbeat of the place, is Miss Vicky! From the moment I walked thru the door, she made me feel at home. I had my almost one year old with me and he made quite the mess, but she genuinely didn’t mind it. She handled us with so much care and was very attentive. She felt like family. The place is cozy and clean. I have no complaints. Even once I left, Miss Vicky came out in the cold to tell me thanks for my generosity. I will definitely be a regular moving forward.

3rd time coming here to actually eat. I come weekly to pick up my milk order otherwise. First time I ordered food here it was the James. Turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Simple sandwich on I think sourdough. Really good and the turkey is turkey breast meat, not deli meat. Side of house made (I think) chips and a pickle. These last 2 times, I wanted a wrap. Which isn't on the menu. So the cashier had the kitchen make it for me for the same cost. I can't eat the whole thing, so she has it cut in half and bagged up with extra chips and a pickle to take home to my husband. Her customer service is homey and comforting and the atmosphere is calming. Especially after the gym. Looks like they have a fridge with butchered meats and other items as well. Glad I switched my milk pick up to this location

I had the “Brock” sandwich. Shaved, house roasted chicken, bacon, aged Cheddar, roasted red peppers with chipotle aïoli, on grilled sourdough. Outstanding. The owner and head chef Patrick even makes his own pickles and potato chips, both of which were excellent. Warm and personal service from Vicki at the counter. All around a five star experience. I will be back often.

We were craving a sandwich and this place was nearby so we popped in. From the moment we walked in I knew we had stumbled on somewhere special! The sandwich we had (and we both said it at the same time through full mouths) was without doubt the best we had ever eaten. The service was second to none. The lady that served us was very knowledgeable about the food and looked after us very well. Will definitely be back - what a wonderful hidden secret!

Wow! This is such a hidden gem. I’m absolutely blown away by the people and food (and coffee!) here. The ingredients in their food is locally sourced and without any of the bad stuff - those toxic additives. It’s all super fresh and homemade. We just did a cooking class there last night and had the BEST time. We made beef Wellington from start to finish (with Chef Patrick’s guidance), along with some amazing side dishes. Then, he surprised us with a whole platter of homemade desserts. I highly encourage everyone to stop by Foodies for a sandwich, to go snack, latte, fresh eggs and meat, desserts…cooking classes, you name it! 10/10 experience

The best sandwiches and coffee in VA Beach! Patrick (owner/chef) and his team have created a very thoughtfully curated menu of speciality sandwiches. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The entire staff is incredibly attentive and makes you feel like you are family. Coffee is locally roasted and absolutely delicious. Not to be missed are the selection of items from local farms and vendors in the market.

I can’t imagine this place getting anything less than 5 stars. I got the Keller sandwich and it was so good that I went cross-eyed on the first bite. The farm to table quality made me rethink “if this is food” what have I been eating my whole life?” The texture on the chips are out of this world. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. I want to live here

This place certainly earns its 5 stars in earnest. The customer service here was unheard of. I ordered a classic sandwich but went without the homemade chips and pickles for not wanting to waste food and when I grabbed a cold side (the hot honey carrots), they went out of their way to heat it up for me! The decor is tasteful and clearly mindful of customer comfort and experience, the food all made from scratch, even the free water is amazing quality and taste (locally sourced !). You can tell the effort and quality they put into their craft here and with the other offers of cooking classes and community based events, they care for their folks in and out. If you're looking for a good straight forward sandwich or anything to take home to cook later for dinner, you'll find it here.
